Hood Fables Experience

The “Hood Fables Books” are designed to bring youth from (6 – 16) back to the FUNdamentals of reading. Hood Fables (hood as in, fatherHood, motherHood, brotherHood, sisterHood, neighborHood, your Hood) takes you into a world of fun reading that is absent in the presence of today’s digital technology. This project will feature the artwork of several students that will handle and assistance with art design and the stories. Hood Fables takes some of the old fables, remixes them and turns them into epic reader’s candy that is full of laughter, morals, and problem solving. These fables are designed to bring family reading time back to millions of households all over the nation.
